Karis

Karis is the floral artist & educator behind Flowers by Karis, a design studio based on California’s Central Coast. Her work is rooted in seasonality, dynamic color & mirroring the tangle of the garden, seeking out specific, sometimes unexpected botanical varieties & finding new combinations within a season’s bounty.

Working across weddings, events & education, she approaches flowers as an artistic medium: something to study, play with, capture & continually rediscover with wide eyes.

Her teaching is an extension of that same curiosity, digging into color, composition & the tiny, patient choices that make a piece feel alive.
